Blood Tests Are Best At Detecting Alzheimer’s Disease: Blood test is considered to be the best way to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease. With the help of blood test, it will be helpful to identify Alzheimer’s in the initial stage itself. Not only this, with the help of another blood test, the effect of relevant treatment can also be detected. This has been revealed in a new research published in Nature Medicine. According to the report of ANI, with the help of multiple biomarkers like Phospho-TAU 231 and AB 42/40, even if the patient does not show any symptoms of Alzheimer’s, Alzheimer’s disease pathology can be identified in the early stages. This study was done by a group in USA, Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer’s Prevention (WRAP).

What do researchers say?
Researcher Dr. Nicholas Ashton of the University of Gothenburg said that this blood test may be the best option for detecting Alzheimer’s disease and monitoring the progress of the disease. Its clinical trial can also have a different role. He said that this research has shown that phospho-TAU217 can be used as an excellent test to specifically monitor patients in both the clinical setting and trial setting for the detection of Alzheimer’s.
