How to add text to column?
Step 1- First open a document in Google Docs.

Step 2- Now select the text which you want to keep in the column.

Step 3- Now after Format click on Columns.

Step 4- After this make changes and click on apply.

How to remove Column?
1-First select the columns you want to change.
2- Now click on Format> Columns> 1 column.

Explain that you are also allowed to add column breaks in Google Docs. Column breaks start the next text at the top of the next column, similar to page breaks.

Step 1- Open the document in Google Docs.

Step 2- Now click on the part of the column where you want to add break.

Step 3- Then click on Insert > Break > Column Break.

Important thing! These features are not available in documents that are in pageless format. To use these features, make sure that your document is in Pages format.
